So i heard that mantle is meant for low-end CPUs especially old CPUs like Core 2 Duo, but there is NO benchmark showing mantle on Core 2 Duo with mid-range GPU. I know it is because of those marketing techniques, but we(core 2 duo users) really need to know by how much the performance on core 2 duo will improve with mantle installed playing mantle supported game like BF4.
I am asking this because i have a Core 2 Duo e4700 and i am planning to get HD 7950. I chose not to upgrade my CPU because i wanna know how much mantle will benefits my core 2 duo.
I know i will still get bottlenecks even with mantle installed. But, will it still be bottlenecking my CPU like it used to be? (get constant 20fps with gtx 650ti and core 2 duo e4700 playing AC:Black Flag Lowest Settings)
A chart showing core 2 duo's performance with and without mantle installed will really help me.
