2 options, attempts at landine service have failed

1. Dishnet

2. Verizon (no great signal from t-mobile or sprint, no good att plans)

I can probably bundle in the hopper with dishnet as a current customer, but I don't know if it's worth the latency to avoid overages.

Solution
Satellite will be much cheaper although I am not sure what happens if you actually would hit their cap. I generally use ATT because I get stronger signal where I use it. When it is in a good mode I get 20m/sec and it is super fast. This also means it eats my allocation really fast too.

This is a hard call since the satelite is so much cheaper. I am using my phone in hotspot mode placed near a window when I use for this purpose. Since I have to have a data plan on the phone anyway it does not add that much to use it as broadband. I suspect if I had to use this as my only broadband I would not be doing things like netflix. I tend to be somewhat careful and have never exceeded the 5g of bandwidth included in my plan just...
If you can get verizon LTE is will be a lot faster than satelite. The latency is what is the real killer for satellite, many games just refuse to work and things like voip are flaky. It is still much cheaper than cellular. You will likely pay about $10/gig likely with a minimum charge of about $50 ie 5g per month for a cellular connection

The other option is to look for what is called a WISP. These are rather small ISP that put radio equipment on things like water towers. They generally are not going to be able to give you the top speed like LTE will but most are flat rate/month with no caps or overage charges.

No wisp for my area other than the major cell companies. No gaming or voip, just browsing
