Computer freezes up with 100% disk usage?

Hi, I've been having problems like this since the day I put this computer together (2 years ago
) making me suspect a faulty motherboard. But I honestly don't know. Let's get into this: The main problem is randomly, the computer will cease being able to preform any process or network connections at all (or if not, very very slowly). When I churn out the usage monitor, i see 100% system disk usage (my Kingston SSD) and 33% usage in the processes tab (all by "system"). So huh? I have 16 GB of ram, tweaked up the page file a bit, switched the system drive 3 times (each time with a different derivative of this problem). At this point I'm kind of defeated. A screen shot I took while problems were happening got corrupted :( Side note: Sometimes it will just fix itself after a while, sometimes it wont, for hours...
Thanks for any help.

Find out what is using 100% of your SSD...... only if making massive copies from/within your SSD you'd get to use it at 100%... track the process that it's using your SSD and see if it's something you have installed, else it could be a trojan/malware, in that case run your antivirus and then malwarebytes to eliminate any issue (try running them on safe mode to avoid a freeze while scanning).

Uh yeah, in the details I said "System" is using 33%, and that's all it shows in processes. The percentages in the other tab show 100% disk usage. No malware or anything. Wiped the drive thrice, same problems.
