Hello everyone,
I recently upgraded my HTPC to also serve as a gaming rig. I bought a Gygabite GTX 770 4 GB and upgraded my MoBo and CPU. I ran my HTPC from my previous mobo to the receiver because it supported 7.1 HD surround. My new MoBo also supports this configuration but I was wondering if I should just connect it via the GPU? Or will I simply need to change between the MoBo HDMI and the GPU HDMI when going from XBMC to Steam (Big Picture mode)? Thanks for the help!

ASUS Z87I-Deluxe Motherboard
Cooler Master Elite 130 Ultra Case
Cooler Master Seidon 120M Liquid Cooler
EVGA 600B 600W PSU
Gygabite GTX 770 4GB (GV-N770OC-4GD)
Intel i5-4670K 3.4GHz CPU (will overclock to 4.6 GHz)
Kingston HyperX DDR3 8 GB
LG UH12NS30 Bluray Drive
Seagate 600 Series 240GB SSD
3 x Seagate Backup Plus 4 TB
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit OS
