Which PCIe slot arrangement is best?

I just brought a second hand PC. It has a Maximus IV Extreme Motherboard. It physically has 6 PCIe slots as follows:

1. PCIe 2.0 x16_1 slot
2. PCIe 2.0 x1_2 slot
3. PCIe 2.0 x16_2 slot
4. PCIe 2.0 x8_3 slot
5. PCIe 2.0 x16_4 slot
6. PCIe 2.0 x4_1 slot

The motherboard manual tells me to place the single graphics card I have into the PCIe 2.0 x16/8_1 which is (Native) for better performance which is where it is currently.

I want to add a wireless card (TP-Link TL-WN881ND 300Mbps Wireless N PCI Express Adapter) into the second slot PCIe 2.0 x1_2 but the graphics card is too big and covers it.

What is best? Move the graphics card and free up the space? Or would a wireless card work in any of the PCIe slots.

I dont use the system for gaming but rather CAD work and so all I need is a set up which allows for the best performance graphically and allows me to research information from the web rather than link up for game play.

I dont intend on adding anything else to the system for awhile as I cant afford to get a better graphics card and take advantage of the crossfire set-up etc yet the other PCIe slots are up for grabs.

Thanks.

Solution
The Card will fit into any pcie Slot It dosent need much bandwith to operate so just put it in where ever you can fit it in it will still work :)

Ps All pcie is backwards compatible As long as there isnt a bandwidth bottleneck any card will work in anyslot.
