i have my microphone plugged into the asus xonar via the front panel mic slot, and when monitoring the microphone it sounds normal. but as soon as i enable it in skype it immediately applies an echo to the mic, When i say echo i am not referring to feedback in the mic i mean that the mic sounds like it has one of the soundcards effects applied to it and it sounds like im talking in a cave. Ive tried quite a few things to fix it but cant seem to figure out what the problem is.
