I recently bought a Noctua NF-S12B FLX 59.2 CFM 120mm; However, I'm planning on buying a motherboard which only has 4-pin fan headers. The fan I just bought has 3 speeds. Will I be able to control the speeds by plugging the 3-pin fan into a 4-pin header?
3-pin 3-speed Noctua NF-S12B FLX fan, 4-pin motherboard headers... Speed control?

No the 4th pin is for pwn features the fan will still work as normal on the 4 pin header but only 4 pin fans will be able to be controlled sorry
