Cant say that the upgrade will work 100%, since laptop CPU upgrades sometimes dont work even when the CPU is technically compatible with the motherboard socket and amongst other things. But you could, in theory, upgrade to an A10-5750M, like I said it might not work as vendors sometimes make a laptop work specifically for one CPU (the one it came with) but you can try it out (dont forget to buy thermal paste as well).

If you want to go ahead with this, I suggest first trying out new CPU, if it does not work, reinstall old CPU and then update BIOS. After update put in new CPU again and see if it works then.

Also, the A10-5750M should give you a good jump in GPU performance not as much on the CPU side though there will be a jump there...

If you dont know this already AMD APUs run much better with faster RAM so if you only have one stick of RAM try upgrading to an 2 stick kit (1600mhz minimum, I would say 1866mhz speed but you would have to verify that your motherboard supports that speed since most just support 1600mhz)
