I have been almost oblivious to new computer hardware over the past 17 months as I have been deployed overseas with the army. So I would appreciate if someone could post a build of a great, fast running computer (for gaming) I could build with a budget of ~$3000. Hopefully this question makes sense!! Thanks guys in advance!

I would also appreciate if the specs of the computer you described could be posted as well!!

This build is very fast and will last a very long time but if you need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset and speakers it could still be done inside $3,000 or even $2,000

expensive monitor, but well worth it, otherwise this build will play just about every game at highest settings
