Hey, a I have a question, and it's kind of confusing so bare with me.

So I have a monitor with no HDMI port, and my new graphics card (r9 270x) doesn't have a VGA port (I think)

So here's the deal. This PC is brand new. If I were to connect the VGA from the motherboard to the Monitor, and later decide to connect it to the graphics card, will that effect anything? For example I buy a new monitor with HDMI and connect it to the graphics card, after I have booted it up for the first time, will that effect anything?

I apologize if this is a stupid question, I'm not very well when it comes to Computer Tech, and I paid $1k on this PC so I don't want to mess anything up.

Thanks for the help :)

No, it won't effect anything negatively. You can use your cpu's integrated graphics without effecting the gpu. You will get better performance once you switch to the gpu assuming you have installed the drivers.
