AMD Driver problems

Well I know alot of people are complaining about problems with the amd beta 14.1 drivers.
That isn't my problem though.

I was using v13.12 when bf3 crashed alot. Usually it's only bf4 that crashes. So I updated to the beta drivers to try fix this. It still crashed and minecraft didn't work. So I uninstalled and went back to 13.12. Now bf3,bf4 still don't work but crysis 2 gave me a bsod. I uninstalled hydra vision and other things 14.1 gave me. Crysis 2 still crashes while in game but doesn't bsod anymore.

I definitely know I have a driver problem but all worked fine with the 13.12 drivers before. Ever since bf3 screwed up everything seems to be following suit.

Any ideas, Ive tried my basic ideas. (btw Ive already cleaned install amd ccc)

use DriverSweeper to remove whatever AMD drivers you have now. Do not wipe the chipset drivers. Then go an install the latest stable driver/CCC. results?

try the guide and see if it works, do you happen to have your stop code from the BSOD? can you try to induce the BSOD and jot down the stop code or take a pic

No sorry had the bsod once. Then tried to do the bsod again and take the pic but it never happend. Just crashed instead

Good I have the same chip as you. HD 7850. 13.11 isnt for download so do you think installing 13.12 would be good again?

Ty, Ill tell you if it still crashes or not. also I got a direct X error before. Is there a way to uninstall that and reinstall. It crashed with dx11?

well the good news is, that stop code is unique to AMD graphic drivers. So the problem is 99% not hardware related. unless some sector of your HDD is corrupt or idk. You should really consider using driver sweeper, i think it will work better than that guide. just do plenty of research and do not wipe the chipset drivers.

and if you go through all that, ill go through the trouble to upload my .exe install i have in my donloads folder of AMD CCC driver 13.11_9.4 beta.exe, and maybe it will work better for you

yes from guru 3d, look into tutorials, and dont wipe the chipset drivers.

yeah i would run that and play the games that normally cause crashes, turn on max ultra settings to push it. more "real world" testing method
