I suggested this setup for my friend (he just wants a prebuilt and doesnt want to spend that much) and was wondering if it really suits his needs. From my understanding it is a solid PC but would I rather advice from the gods of computers haha. He plans to play minecraft a lot with preferably 100+ frames and the #1 steam game Rust on good settings. Please let me know if i have made a good decision or not!

The build is decent. The PSU is LOW quality and NOT recommended. Low end units fail all the time and they can easily fry the whole computer.

The computer will easily run minecraft well (he will only play at 60fps because his monitor is more than like 60hz).

Rust will probably not max but run at high settings. This Computer is good for high (not ultra) settings in most modern game for 60fps at 1080p.

Also, it has an i5 4670k (can be overclocked) with a motherboard that does not allow overclocking. This is a bit strange.

Yeah it is strange, I presume this it to make a little extra money on their product but oh well ill let him know and maybe he can customise the build for a little extra. Ill also tell him to get a 120hz monitor while he's at it.

Thank you,

A 120hz monitor is pointless for this build because aside form minecraft, this will not run games at more than 60fps.
