gtx 680 evga precision x k boost

my 680 wont go past 965 on clock. i was able to keep it locked with k boost around 1200, but after restarting my pc over night, it wont do it. any thoughts?

i've stopped using k-boost altogether. got my power target to 159%, clock offset to +116MHz, mem clock offset to +20MHz, and voltage to 1150. i've been playing bf4, batman arkham origins, guild wars 2, and need for speed rivals for several hours. max temp 63C, max gpu clock 1215, max mem clock 3024, max power 90%, GPU overall usage jumpy between 89% and down to 73% (mostly during BF4 multiplayer). fx-6300 cpu by the way, OC'd to 4.1GHz and 8gb 1866MHz RAM. most games dont go lower than 46FPS except for need for speed rivals which is locked at 30FPS for some stupid reason. I'd say runs pretty decent, wish i could get several extra FPS in BF4 and arkham origins, but i think it's all VRAM that i'm lacking.

any opinions/suggestions are very much welcome and appreciated
