First timer here. Advice for building new PC without a PC monitor.

So I'm getting the parts ready and I'm wondering if I can boot the PC for the first time on my vizio 50" TV because I don't own a monitor, yet. Can I boot it using HDMI to my TV and access the BIOS even though the OS is not installed yet? or should I get a PC monitor and use a DVI/VGA connection?

NOTE: I am planing to install the OS (windows 7) using a USB stick.

My build:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair Professional 750W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

Dear, first of all I must say you've chosen your system wisely. Good build indeed. Next answering your question. YES it will work without any issue. Just make sure that your TV has HDMI port available. Simply plugin the HDMI cable in your GTX770 HDMI port and the other end of the HDMI cable in your TV HDMI port.

Power on your TV and change the input mode to HDMI. Power on your PC, It will display as if it were on computer monitor.

Yes you can access BIOS on your TV screen. No Issue.

Enable boot from usb in your BIOS options and give it a go. You'll be installing windows on your computer while displaying in the TV.

I've done it so many times with my PC and now I connect my wife's laptop with TV using HDMI cable. :)

It will be fine via HDMi, no problem there.

Looks like a great build, all very nice components. I prefer Asus or Gigabyte motherboards personally, but you have chosen well. The Fractal Define R4 is a really nice case, and a joy to build in. Enjoy! :)

Yes, the EVGA GTX 770 has an HDMI output, so as long as your TV has an HDMI input, you will be able to boot to a TV, even when the OS isn't installed. You can access the BIOS and install the OS using the TV until you have a monitor, but because your OS and drivers aren't installed yet, the resolution is going to be really low.
