Crossfiring Sapphire 280x PSU reqs

I currently have an EVGA 1000w 80+ platinum psu and I have 1 Sapphire dual x oc 280x. Is my Power supply strong enough to handle 2 of these cards?

My build:
Amd FX-8350 stock speed
Sapphire 280x
G skills ripjaws x 16gb 4x4gb
2tb WD black
1TB seagate barracuda
120gb crucial m4 ssd
Thermaltake armor revo full tower
Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 MOBO

Your PSU should be enough as long as it has 4 PCI power outputs.

Yes it will run two of those cards. They take up to 250W each. Add another 250W for the rest of the system and you will probably never use more than 750W.

I am fairly certain that the 8350 draws 195 watts though

If you have an Evga SuperNOVA then yes it can actually run 3 280xs

Your PSU is not a wimp, it will run your fx 8350 and 2 280xs without even breaking a sweat.

Even if your 8350 draws 400 watts your PSU can still power everything. Except the 8350 will probably be dead if that ever happens.
