I was about to clean my smartphone (LG-P880, aka LG 4X HD) with isoprpyl alcohol. The ispropyl is called "blårens" here in Norway, and is coloured medium light blue. It contains about 60-100% alcohol, but they put stuff in it so it will make you barf if you try to drink it. But, I accidently spilled about 50-100 ml isopropyl alcohol on my entire phone, a little bit of the side panel on my desktop pc and about 1/4 of my mousemat was soaked. I quickly dried everything up as fast as I could, but when I reactivated my phone, it got a really weird blue tint, as if it was darker. The dark mark covered almost my entire screen, if I was to put it on the darkest brightness setting.
So, have anyone ever encountered something like this, who can give me some tips?

Pictures of my fail: (dont mind what the screen is saying, it was an example.)

Alcohol can evaporate pretty easily. Just turn off your phone and put all the wet stuff somewhere warm like under the sunlight. Soon there should be no trace of the liquid left.

This is not the right forum for phones by the way.

You will probably need to replace the plastic clear front of the phone (glass?).

Im guessing what happened, is the the phone had a slight tint which the alcohol has removed.

It may be the additives that has stayed behind....you might give it a few days in a zip-lock back with uncooked rice (the rice will draw out all moisture). There may be residual dyes left over creating the issue as well.

Hopefully its just some wet alcohol trapped under the screen because its not easy to escape from there. Good thing its alcohol and no water because that can obviously short circuit the phone.
