Emachines ET1161-07 with Windows Vista has no sound - shows error code 19 - and shows no audio devices installed. I downloaded new drivers, but it said the drivers were all ok. I tried the system restore but it had dates only a month old and they don't go back far enough. How can I get it back to the original installed Vista... or get the audio devices re-installed.

First check that the audio is enabled within the bios and you have cables in the correct audio ports.
1st audio link is for Realtek over a HDMI connection.
2nd link is normal Realtek over speakers/headphones
If that doesn't work, then try the generic Realtek drivers ..
