Taking a long time obtaining internet access, halp
EDIT: Okay, It showed me something like "Ask us a question", I wrote like 100 lines, and now it doesn't show up here ? This forum is kind of harsh ...

So I'll have to write this down one more time I guess... Ffs :/
I am the proud owner of a Windows 8 copy for over a year now. I've got other performance issues with my PC that I won't get into... Ok, after 4-5 months after I got my Windows 8 installed, from the instant internet access I used to get (booted the PC and bang, access xD), It takes around 30-60 mins (sometimes less, sometimes more) to "obtain" internet access... I can open up Skype without problems and I think my Steam works as well, but browsers (Mozilla, hell even IE) take forever to load up pages (doesn't show up anything, just tries to load it up); games like Minecraft, again, take forever to open... by forever I mean until I got internet access because they need some internet stuff done to connect to their servers and stuff, so I just listen to music, open up FL Studio, play some offline games et cetera... It says on my Ethernet access thingy that I have network access and stuff, the internet just doesn't work properly... The bytes that are sent/received are frozen, they occasionally "change" for 1 sec then again frozen...
I'm sorry if it isn't understandable enough, I have school tomorrow and I've waited for 1 hour and 26 minutes to connect to Mozilla and everything just to post this :/ . I'll provide some screenshots or any detail I can, just help me resolve this :< .
Thanks in advance xD .

Okay, I got the sudden idea to open a file that got modified a looooong time ago (summer time-ish) by seeing it's name in some file I needed for a game. Basicaly I had the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts file FULL with ports and lines from some website that overloaded my network somehow lol :/ Strange I've finally found the solution after 5-6 months and ONLY after 1 day of posting this . So people, PLEASE be cautious when you modify files from the Windows folder. If you have similar problems, please check the files that can be edited for stuff like this.
