Hi, I just installed an Intel DQ965GF motherboard into an old Compaq Presario 1010v case which I gutted. Whenever I plug in the PSU (new Antec BP350), the PC powers on by itself for 3 seconds, then off again. Then after this happens, I power it on myself and it works normally.
I think I have all the connections hooked up correctly, and the BIOS is set to leave power off after power outage. I need to unplug/replug the PC sometimes... so not sure if this will damage my PSU/mobo over time or why it does this?
Whenever this happens, the motherboard POST light comes on, and I don't see any video. PSU was tested on another PC, works fine. Power switch wiring worked as it should with another motherboard. The mobo works fine, besides this issue.
Any suggestions would be appreciated...
Thanks,
Evan
