I am overclocking my cpu. Is it stable?

I have an amd phenom ii x4 965 that I am overclocking to help alleviate a bottleneck with my system. I set the clock to 3.9 GHz and set the voltage to 1.4. I ran IBT with the high preset on 10 passes, and it passed. I then tried the very high preset with 15 passes just to make sure it was stable and it failed. Does this mean I should bump up the voltage a bit and Retest, or is my cpu stable enough?

Are you monitoring your temps while you do this?

I have the same cpu as yours and I have overclocked it and kept is at 3.8ghz. It is stable at that limit. I tried at 4.0ghz and it worked but when I played it with COD Ghost the terrains were flickering so I had to drop it to 3.8ghz and it worked all-round.

Yes. During the test with the high preset I had a peak load temp of about 58 degrees c, and the test with the very high preset my temps maxed at 62
