Hello,

I'm looking for a new MOBO to replace my P8P67 Pro, the mobo just burned last weekend, so i'm reading and searching to replace for a new one, but so far I haven't find the one for me. Budget is not a problem as long the mobo hold a 24/7 cycle. I usually play games and some programming, also I have virtual servers for research on it.

These are my other components:
i7 2600k
Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) 1600Mhz
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX850
EVGA GTX 760 SC 2GB
Samsung 840 pro 256 GB SSD
2x WD Green Caviar 1.5 TB

Hope the community will help me with this. Regards.

PLENTY. if money is not a problem at all, then go for an Asus Maximus V Extreme EATX LGA1155 Motherboard.

But if not, you could go for a PRO version of yours or a GA-P67A-UD7-B3. Both are very reliable.

Thank you for your answers, I forgot to write that I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a simple motherboard that will do the job. I kind of freak out when the last mobo burned, the first time this happen to me, so I'll try anything except ASUS, I'm kind of superstitious.

As for both recommendations, Maximus Extreme is just to Extreme for me hehe, it has to many features that I don't know if I'm going to use (need) it all. The GigaByte seems reasonable as for my demands, I'll look into it.
