I took the advice presented by the guys replying and changed from an MSI to Gigabyte mobo as I did go and read some reviews which seemed much more positive for the Gigabyte brand. Also the going cheap on a power supply gave me to some additional browsing reviews and reports. When looking I saw a $1 a watt type guideline and saw reviews on the sales site. Being in Canada though prices vary and cross border shopping from the USA is always very painful with duty and shipping especially when I'm on an island in Canada. I believe I'm going to have keep looking on NewEgg , and others to get the best price. It would be nice if Free Trade meant I could buy from the states with just the exchange rate on the dollar but it just never works out, maybe other Canucks have guidance on this and Canada friendly sites ? My research will continue for the best price over the next few weeks as I'm trying to get the parts mentioned for around but not over $700 with all the shipping , taxes (12%) and other costs which rings in about $600 for the four items prices are from newegg canada
I'll go with something similar to the following.
Changed to these

Coolmax Zu-600b 600watt psu $49

Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P mother $79

Unchanged
AMD 6 Core cpu maybe quad to save on cost $99 quad
R9 280x Video Card $420

About $640 with taxes and shipping I'm around $750 Canadian but wanna bring that price down.

Costs vary on the cpu and the video card which also has availability problems at Canadian distributors.

I do have the ram, box and an SSD hard drive on hand. I guess my big thing is past experiences buying from the USA from Canada always have problems. I can't buy from Staples USA for example as I'd have to use their Canadian site which just doesn't compare in price or availability.
The build advice itself was spot on.
Thanks guys
