I have a Asus m4a785td-v evo motherboard and it currently has 4 gb of ram installed. The sticks in it are gskill ripjaws f3-12800cl9d-4gbbrl ddr3-1600 pcs-12800 2gbx2... The sticks I need to install are Gskill sniper f3-12800cl9d-8gbsr ddr3-1600 pc3-12800 4gbx2...Everything works fine with the ripjaws in, but when I put the other sticks in, the computer turns on but no visual is sent to monitor... I tried turning the mem voltage to 1.5 and so on but got nothing still. Does anyone know something else I can try in order to install these mem sticks?

Solution
Try resetting CMOS, and install a single stick of the Snipers in slot 1 or 2 and try to go to BIOS, if that works st the stick to 1333, 9-9-9-27 and the DRAM voltage initially to to 1.55, save, exit and try adding the 2nd stick, if that goes to BIOS then raise the CPU/NB voltage to 1.25 - save, exit and can try adding the other sticks - most 955s have trouble with 1600 sticks, especially fully populated

Have you tried the Snipers by themselves? They may not want to play with the Ripjaws...Try the Snipers by themselves. If they are OK then it could be the sticks just don't want to play together or the CPU can't handle 4 sticks of 1600 (not sure what CPU, none mentioned), so what CPU do have...in the meantime, if the Snipers work by them selves, then can try raising the DRAM voltage to about 1.6 and the CPU/NB voltage to around 1.25 and try them together (4GB sticks in slots 1-3 from CPU and the 2GB in 2-4)
