I bought a new sound card, the Asus SupremeFX II and it said that is was compatiable with all Asus Motherboards, and wont work on any other motherboard. I have the right connector for it, it lights up, I uninstalled the drivers before removing my old sound card (SB Live! 24 bit, PCI) in safe mode, and installed it, and put the CD in, but it said it didn't detect the sound card. Does this sound card work in my system? Is it defective? Any other drivers? I looked in Device Manager, scan for new hardware changes, nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
