Please do not buy a cheap PSU. It will save you lots of headaches to just buy a nice PSU from Corsair that is 80$ now than it will be to replace $1200 in damage caused by a cheap PSU surging.

well lets just say you had to pick between the cx or an evga same wattage what route would you go

You need a power supply with at least 443W on the combined +12V rails.

Without over clocking, the cheapest power supply you could get away with is the Corsair CX 500.
You will be loading this unit at about 75% of rated power when playing games.
This means efficiency will be down to just over 80% and it may be a little noisy.
The cheaper capacitors used in these units will also have a reduced life span compared to better units.
The Corsair CX 600 is of similar quality, but the higher rating will make it quieter and last longer.
You would have to choose the 600W unit to safely over clock.

The XFX Pro550 is a big step up in quality from the above units.
Depending on the web site you may find this as "xfx pro 550" or "xfx core editiion pro550".
The 550W rating is much safer than choosing a 500W supply.

You can also have a look at this list:
http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx

Anything from tier 1, 2 or 3 should be OK.
Choose a unit at least 550W preferably.

EVGA and Corsair both sell good models and bad models.
Spending over $700 on a video card, cpu, motherboard and RAM then using a $50 power supply is just stupid.
The XFX supply recommended above (by pretty much everyone) is great for $70.
Here is a Seasonic branded unit for $74.99 as well, which is 80 plus gold rated:

Just to add some more variety.... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028

Quality is OK, but this unit is rated at 34A (408W) on the +12V rail.
This isn't enough to run this system reliably.
The EVGA 600B would be OK, but this is no cheaper than the XFX Pro 550.

I mentioned the Corsair CX 600 above.
It would do the job, quality is OK for a budget supply.
