my computer is a hp pavilion slimline 5710f

I want to upgrade my psu wth a corsair psu instead a hp psu

my motherboard im going to buy is a
MSI 890FXA-GD65 AMD 890FX AMD3 Motherboard

unlikely to fit if you cant mount it sideways... coz the case is a slimline and about 2 inches slimmer than a standard ATX case.

not sure mate to be honest. there are slim psu's out there and as long as you go with a reputable brand you shouldnt have any issues.

http://www.atxpowersupplies.com/power-supply-cross-reference-chart.php check this site out and see if you can find your model... it should list a replacment although i dunno if it will be a higher power unit.
