I have hear that is smart to run some type of test software on new HDD's to force a drive to fail now and not in a few weeks after the warranty expires. I will be putting them in RAID 1 in my RAID enclosure. Should I test them in this setup or plug them in internally and test one at a time?
Thanks for the advice.
