Hi I just want to ask THREE questions: FIRST, correct PSU selection , SECOND, will I waste my money if I buy kraken x60 or corsair H100i, but has no plan of overclocking? (I just want my pc just to look good) I'm not saying I'm on a tight budget but I would like it if i save some money. and THIRD, what UPS is enough for my system to be protected? (Besides APC, what else? or atleast give me ###VA. just to have an idea.. any suggestions will be much appreciated.

this is what i plan to build
CPU: i5-4670
CPU COOLER: NZXT Kraken x60
MOBO: MSi z87-g45 gaming
GPU: sapphire r9-270x toxic (i feel this maybe too much for my build but i like the looks and the package that comes with it.. ^_^)
RAM: Gskill Ripjaws X 8gb (4gbx2) 1600
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1tb
PSU: (please help me with this) i am planning to go for Corsair RM650 80+ gold fully modular, will this be enough? i'd be glad if i can go down to 550, or shud I buy 750
CASING: NZXT Phantom 530
Monitor: HP pavilion 22fi

Solution

650w will be fine.

Motherboard would be better as Asus z87-A, for higher reliability and performance for the same price.

The PSU will be perfectly fine for your needs, although you could go down to 550w

The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO will be the best cooler for a much lower price, since you won't be overclocking

Everything else looks great!

first your psu is good. and you can still go down to a 550. or you may also want to just have a bronze and get higher watts.
2nd you're wasting money on your cooler since you cant overclock a non k 4670. if you just want to make your computer look good why dont settle for cooler master x6. it is a tad cheaper
3rd i dont know what you are talking about :))

thanks for the reply! wow, wasn't expecting it would be this fast. :) uhmm UPS. Uninterrupted Power Supply, to protect my computer from under or over voltage and to have some ample time to shut down properly when there's a sudden cut-off of power/electric current/black out, i'm from Philippines that's why it is important for me to have UPS, because Black outs are common to us...
