Am I running the wrong ram? I am using this system.

-M5a97 le r2.0 motherboard
-amd fx 6300 6 core stock clocks
-16 gb G.skill Ripjawz 2133 mhz ram
-MSI gtx gaming edition 760
-700watt coolermaters extreme psu
-500gb WD HD
-Windows 7 64b

I have read that the 6300 fx only supports 1866mhz ram. Am i creating a problem for my pc? And if so is there anyway to tone down the ram?

This is just about my cpu/ram question but i thought id post my system just in case. Thanks ALOT in advance!

Solution
it's like this. If the mobo supports up to 1600, and you slap an 1866 or higher in there, it will run at 1600. and if you try to mix 1600 and 1866, both will run at 1600 since it is the slower speed.
