Hi everyone,
I am just a few days from starting to order my components for my first build. I think I asked this in my other thread when trying to choose components, but I want to ask in more detail now.
First, my tentative list of components:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($319.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BK 78.1 CFM CPU Cooler ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($170.17 @ NCIX US)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($84.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($154.95 @ Adorama)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($148.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card ($519.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Cooler Master SGC-5000-KWN1 ATX Full Tower Case ($144.99 @ Microcenter)
Power Supply: Silverstone Strider Gold S 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($154.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($16.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($175.99 @ B&H)

I know, I changed components from the other thread of mine, but I just needed a base to start from. Anyway, my question is, what type of PSU should I look for? I know I want an 850W, but as far as form factor/type such as ATX, ATX12V, ESP, etc. I dont know whats what. What type is compatible with the motherboard I chose?

Will the PSU I have listed above be compatible with my motherboard?
I have read that some people have trouble with certain PSUs and my chosen motherboard.

Thank you.

ATX power supply is what you are looking for. The one you have in your list is a good one. Honestly you don't need 850w unless you have plans for sli someday. There is a good deal on this xfx right now also:)http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1850bbefx). Its an excellent PSU as well
