I want to buy the Logitech Z506 speakers (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121044) for surround sound on my desktop pc for the purposes of movies, music and gaming. The issue is that I'm going to need something that can convert 2.1 to 5.1 audio. My home theater system has an av receiver that can do this using Dolby Pro Logic II, but I don't want to buy another expensive, bulky av unit just for my pc. Is there a reasonably priced sound card out there that can successfully convert my stereo audio signals to surround?
