Hey guys,

I need a gaming pc for under $1650
I need monitor, mouse and keyboard within the budget.
I will do mild photo editing like making logos ect. And average video editing like making intros/editing gaming videos.

I need to be able to record a game while playing it without too much frame drops. I will play games like Crysis 3 Highest settings and watch dogs(when it comes out) and some other next gen games when they come.

Im gonna buy it maybe next month.
I would like it if i had 12gb+ RAM and i7 and gtx 780 but if there are good reasons i might stick to something else. I need a build guys plz help!

Thnx

Solution
There's 150 bucks left on your budget to choose a mouse and a keyboard that you will like. For gaming and light photo/video editing an i7 is a waste of money, the i5 does all of that.

Why would you get a crap monitor like that for this rig? I mean if you're going to get a crappy tft panel, at least make it a gaming one. This is much better:

That case doesn't really have much going for it. The Haf 912 will do the job better:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233

He really doesn't need a high-end motherboard like that either, not like it's gonna be a sli setup.

This is an almost perfect build. I would just downgrade to a 650w psu, he's not going to need the extra power for sli.

Yea thanks man. Its epic but when i add monitor keyboard and mouse, it goes way over $1700 so I might do a few edits and try to pull it down to my budget.

You can get an i5 4670k instead of an i7. The only difference between the two is that the i5 does not have as good multi-threading. You'll be gaming though so you shouldn't even notice a difference.

Well.., im going to edit video/photos at the same time and when i play my antivirus might run. I think the i7 will last me longer. But still idk.

If you're going to be doing photos while gaming, you are going to need an i7. On that note, any good anti virus will not kick on during gaming. That should not even be an issue. You can save money on the build by not getting the aftermarket cpu cooler. If you need to overclock, you can always grab one later.

Yea, ur right. Im not gonna do photo editing while playing.... That's separate. When i game, I will only game lol. But r u sure the default cooler will be good enough? Isn't it gonna burn up?

Of course not, intel tests and runs these processors with the default cooler. The aftermarket cooler just gives you more overclocking headroom. In other words, you won't be able to overclock much until you get that cooler.
