Yes, your CPU will be a bottleneck for any of those two GPUs.

SO FAR I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH ANY GAME CALL DUTY GHOST CRYSIS 3 BATTL 4 RUNS EVERYTHING HIGH SETTINGS I WANNA KNOW HOW MUCH WITH IT BOTTLNECK WITH 7870 OR 7950 IM PUT EXTRA 4G RAM TOTAL OF 8GB THANX PLZ HIT ME BACK ASAP

First off take caps lock off it is considered rude to type that way. Anyways I think you'd be good with a 7870 and it would be quite a performance increase over ur currant GPU. A 7950 would be a little much for the CPU so I'd just stick to 7870

I have a Phenom II X4 955BE @ 3.6ghz and dual Radeon 270X's in Crossfire @ 1200mhz core & 1575mhz memory and I've yet to experience a single bottleneck. My scores in 3DMark Fire Strike and gaming benchmarks (Sleeping Dogs built-in benchmark, Nexuiz built-in benchmark) are right in line with other Crossfired 270X setups with stronger processors, 5fps +/- difference max.

TL;DR No, a Phenom II X4 955BE will not bottleneck a Radeon 270X :)
