Issue: Internet disconnects while still connected to wireless... (thanks for the help!)

Hi
So I'm on a laptop
The internet randomly disconnects while the wireless is still connected...
When I press the key to turn off and on my wireless connection on my laptop it shortly starts working again....
None of the other computers on this network have the same issue...

it may have something to do with ip address etc but not sure...

Thankyou for your help =)

p.s. Sorry if I need to ask to explain things more in detailed as I'm relatively inexperienced in sorting out IT issues...

Tried malware, found some....turns out that's not the issue...
As for network settings, not sure how to do that (I can only do my laptop side settings)
I've tried disconnecting from the network etc...

recently got a powerline device, now using that... issue still happens...
although now need to go to network setting and diagnose to disconnect and reconnect...

I've tried updating drivers from hp website...still to know avail...

I talked to a tech guy who had suggested some of those, with the only other option being to reformat windows... which if possible I'd rather avoid so as to not need to spend ages on making a backup..

any help please???
