Asus Geforce GTX 650 card installed none of the ports work

Hi new to the forums, i recently bought a new graphics card for my ASUS Essentio CM1745 based on this thread http:// and while im very new at this i feel i did everything right installing it yet none of the video ports work, no signal whatsoever. i had to reinstall my old one just to be sure i didnt fry somthing and to post for help. Im pretty sure i have the same setup as the guy in the other thread as it is the exact same pc. http://this is the card i have that doesnt work. Any advice would mean the world to me i really hope i dont have a bad card the fan turns on when the pc is turned on if that means anything good lol. From what i read in the other forum post that card should work with my cpu. if there is somthing i need to post please let me know

Hi Outbreak,

What happens during startup? Do at least the fans work?

yes all of them work on startup, graphics card fan and all the other ones on the pc it doesnt make any odd noises or nothing out of the ordinary just no video. I couldnt even get to install the new drivers

Have you tried using a different port for video output? What format are you using now, DVI,VGA or HDMI?

Does the 650 require a power connector from the PSU also? If so, check you have plugged that in.

Otherwise, it sounds like the card is faulty.

I'm pretty sure the 650 is BUS powered for the E version, not sure about the DCU 2 version.

I mostly use hdmi but i did try all the ports and none worked

its supposed to be powered by the motherboard according to the box the fan starts up when i turned on the pc

i tried again and used a driver cleaner tool to more completely remove previous drivers thinking maybe i didnt do a good enough job, but still no luck and i even tried on yet another monitor and still no signal so i gess i got a faulty card, im just goin to send it back and get a replacement. if it works after the new one gets here ill give an update.
