hello, . . .1st of how can i mark a thread as solved or closed??

i have this thread open on my problem but i solved it --> Click Me

that thread has the initial problem i have, basically i upgraded my ram then tried to install Windows7 x64 but it wont boot,

now i tried my Old ram, the one that came with my laptop a 1GB samsung ram so i have 3GB total then i Tried installing my win7 x64 again and now WOW it worked :D

so now that thread is answered, but now i just want to ask some questions about this

1.) How did the Ram Affect my installation of Win7 x64??
2.) the one i replaced it with is a much larger Ram so why failure?

My Ram Replacement

tried memtest the 4GB 1333 ~(this is the 1st one i got) ~ then it fails wont even boot just restarts~ then i tried my Old default Ram sticks in both slots and All ok not a Slot problem, so i went back and have this kingston replaced
(oh and i noticed that my Default Rams say 1066 and 64bit Mode in Memtest)

so i made them replace it with a 1066 one, and still memtest fails, why?
but the BIOS sees them as 4GB same with the 1333, and all is good when i went 6hrs. straight no issues.

3.) Why does Memtest cant test this but its still a good ram??
4.) what does the "64bit mode" mean in my ram?? can i do it in my new kingston?

BTW, i installed win7 x64 ultimate but i can't seem too boot when i use my 4GB Kingston Ram help~

Thank you~

32bit and 64bit all based on the processor nothing to do with ram also try resetting bios
