Hi,

I am using two Sapphire R9 280x Toxic GPU's which is installed in ASUS M5A99FX Pro Mobo Parellely in the blue slots (x16).

So, I have got a problem here with the TEMP's rising higher and higher for GPU's and it reached nearly 95c when i was Mining at full load (keeping intensity at 13).

Am using Corsair Carbide 300R case and Seasonic 1050W PSU.

Please let me know how can i reduce the heat.

Thanks

Water Cooling - Whether my Case has the SPACE for it?

GPU's are new. do i still need to change Thermal Paste ?

Fan Speed is getting automatically increased to max.

I can fit two side 120 mm fans to my corsair 300r in the side panel. Is this enough?

which cooler i need to change?

Sorry for being a noob here

Why get a sapphire when you can get a triple fanned Gigabyte Wind force? My single 280 runs at 70 degrees at load. And that's with a VERY hot ambient temp. I can't research your case because my net is slowed but I presume it's decent being Corsair with a top/rear fan?

For the first change thermal paste to some mx-4 for example and add a pair of fans and see what we get . In terms of changing the cooler you need to invest in some accelero twin turbo or accelero extreme but here you have to spent between 40-80 bucks . If you can afford liquid cooling you have to put some custom or accelero hybrid for example .

Here you got an example of your case if I am not wrong with radiator at the bottom and exhaust :

Sapphire R9 280x Toxic also has the same triple fans structure and i heard that it's best for cooling..since we have set it so close. the heat is not dissipating properly..

So, If i attach top/side fans then is there possibility to lower the temps?

What does one of your single cards run at idle/load?

the pic u have posted is very clean and not congested in space.. But for me it looks like a spider web with the PSU cables running all over the GPU's to reach the Mobo Power supply and CPU power supply.. i think i should post the pics of my build here.. first i will go with adding fans in top and sideways...lets see how it decreases the temps..

That is definately on the high side. But not enough to put it to 95 under load. The problem obviously lies in the Crossfire setup.

oh sorry, i forgot to mention about the crossfire setup that i don't use it since i am using this build completely for mining and not for gaming..
