Hi, I am looking at building a gaming PC, I no longer need an OS so the budget is just for PC.

Would like to be able to play BF4 on ultra and overclock CPU/GPU.

Solution
Dont get the 120gb ssd, its highly uneccesary. Also, change the hdd to a western digital one because seagate has more failure drives then western digital. Also get this build instead

The 290x is barely better then the 770 while the 770 is half the price of the 290x http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R9-290X-vs-GeForce-GTX-770

The reason why its cheap is because I was trying to put a 780 into the build but just couldn't. It still is a really good build for this much money and it doesnt make you utilize all your money. You could spend some of the money on steam games or accesioriies etc.

-Dont need an i7 for gaming
-The samsung ssd is better then the kingstonhttp://ssdboss.com/ssds/Samsung-840-EVO-vs-Kingston-SSDNow-V300
-I like my case more but thats just personal preference.
-The reason for the 800w power supply is so you can sli later on if you want to.

I think you must mean "280x" and not "290x". 290x should be better than the gtx 780.
In real world there aren't the big difference between the two SSD's, and by no means anything you would notice.

I just choose the highest rated case, because why not.
If you want to SLI/crossfire in the future a 750-850w is recommended.

What? Can you please link me to some benchmark tests? I know the 290x is loud but I'm surprised that the 780 is better...

Yeah the 290's are really hot. If you wanna keep them cool, I recommend getting some case fans and if you wanna take it to the extreme, get a watercooling loop for gpu and cpu. http://www.eteknix.com/4k-gaming-showdown-amd-r9-290x-r9-280x-vs-nvidia-gtx-titan-gtx-780/4/ if you wanna see more benchmarks go on to the next page. i couldnt find one where it was the r9 vs ths 700's but this one is good enoough but its 4k benchmarks.

Did you mean don't get a 250GB SSD? If so, why is it unnecessary? I thought more space would be better? What's the reason for changing the Motherboard? And Memory, surely DDR3-1866 is better than DDR3-1600? PSU - I was told to go with XFX, Seasonic or Antec High Current Gamer is evga better than those?

Does it matter which case? I'm not fussed about looks only want whichever does the job best.

Thanks!

Update: Is that CPU cooler better? I'll probably be overclocking CPU

The reason why a 250gb ssd is unnecesary is because you are only going to be gaming. Windows will take around 40gb of space so now you have 80gb for games. And games are around 5gb each so thats room for 13 games and then you have the 1tb hard drive. EVGA is not better then them but they are good if you are trying to find a cheap reliable psu. The hyper 212 evo is a really good cpu cooler. It does the same amount of work as the cooler master water cooler that you chose. This will easily let you get to 4.4 ghz stable
