ok here is my question. I am currently running a sapphire radeon 7870 le tahiti card. Im curious if I should huy a card to crossfire with it or buy a new single gpu or 2 new gpus for sli or crossfire. I can afford to gtx 760s 1 780 or a 7970(I think thats crossfireable with my card but not sure) so my budget is about 500to550

Solution
I would have got the 780 Ti.The SSD Will dramaticaly increase system speed(loading times and boot times are shortened)It wont give you extra fps.But if you want to get an ssd you can get but i would have gotten the 780 ti and get the ssd after saving up a little.the 120gb samsung 840 evo ssd costs 90$ you can get it if you can increase your budget a little. So what you can do is put your os and your most played or favourite game on it and put the rest of the stuff on your current hard drive.Happy shopping :)

If you bent on getting a new card(s), my vote would be the 780. However you do have a lot of choices there. It's fun to play with SLI and Crossfire, but It would be hard for me to turn down a 780 if I could afford it.

It's usually best to just get 1 card. If you can afford it, and your system won't bottleneck it, the 780 is your best bet. SLI/Crossfire, while they have come a long way, they still run into problems at times, especially with newer games, where the drivers sometimes still need to be tweaked. Save yourself the heartache... go single.

Get the 780.I dont recommend sli or crossfire because they have issues like high temperature and micro stuttering. The GTX 780 will max out all the latest games.I can guarantee that you will be very happy with it :).

still get the 780.sli and crossfire have a lot of issues.and the 780 can max out all games.you can barely notice the difference.sli and crossfire are simply not worth the issues.

One last question then should I get a ssd now or should I put the extra money towards getting the 780 ti is the difference noticeable or will I get more benefit from the ssd
