Basically what the title says. Should i get the radeon hd 7990 or the gtx 780 ti superclocked gigabyte ghz edition. To me prices don't matter. I will be gaming at 1440p and i will mostly be using my gpu for extreme gaming, video editing and doing high end projects. Also, all my games and software support gpu. Even though the radeon hd 7990 has better bandwidth, memory, floating performance, pixel rate, texel rate, memory bus and more shading units i have heard better reviews for the gtx 780 ti superclocked gigabyte ghz edition. So just to repeat again for my gpu should i get the radeon hd 7990 or the gtx 780 ti superclocked gigabyte ghz edition.

Thank you

:)

It is a preference thing but I would go with the 780Ti since the HD7990 still has issues in some games.

I agree.
The HD7990 is a dual-GPU card and thus has all of the issues that Crossfire has.

For example, DX9 is still not supported properly which results in DX9 games like Half Life 2 running at a PERCEIVED 30FPS, not 60FPS despite what FRAPS says (you can Google "runt frames crossfire").

1440p and gaming:
I also game at 1440p, but in a few games it might be better to game at 1080p if you can't maintain 60FPS. 1080p often looks nearly identical for Skyrim, FPS games etc.
