I have a budget of around 1500$. I can go a little over, a little under. But my question is can I build a gaming rig for 1500$ that will play modern shooting games and other games as well on high-ultra with 50-60 FPS at 1080P? Give me the specs you would use and provide rough estimated benchmarks please. I'm an AMD guy but for this build id probably wanna go Intel/NVidia. Thanks!

Flashy cases aren't my specialty. It's hard to recommend cases because peoples taste varies so much. How do you like this one?

hi have a look at my specs and do that but just get a amd 8350 instead and a 7870-7950 GPU then you could play BF4 in High/ultra as mine plays BF4 in medium settings at 70FPS
you dont need as many hard drives and you don't need the same motherboard also you will need a higher wattage PSU

This is my take at an awesome $1500 gaming system.

@shortstuff- eliminate the windows 8 and save that hundred dollars and choose a better case.. Something more flashy. With great air circulation. I don't want a loud machine. Possibly see through if possible?!

I got something nice for you, wait.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2RVYI Lol hit exactly 1500, the case is very nice and good performance and there there is also one in black if you wont like white, fans have blue LEDs. The CPU is a core i7 without integrated GPU but delivers same performance in all games, apps but it is not for much overclocking and you can set the turbo for all cores to run at 3.7GHZ which is the overclocking potential and also you can reduce the vcore under 0.95v to reduce temperature and wattage used. If you want to overclock a lot then the i5 4670k is good but it wont have HT.
