As the title says i have a HP Pavilion a6745f Special edition .
Motherboard is a ms-7548aspen
Form factor micro ATX
chipset amg 780g
with x1 pci express slot
i dont know if its just pcie x16 or pcie2.0x16
Currently i play wow with the stock onboard grafix it sucks all settings on low.I would like to play on ultra if not then high settings. i was thinking about nvidia 600 series620 630 2gb cards my power supply is 580 watt so no prob there.my friend is hell bent on AMD cause it has a amd athlon x2 5050e ive upgraded to 8gb ram budget for a card $150 after some looking amd cards seem to be a better fit say the 65xx to 67xx series

Solution
Really the only issue I see here is the processor. That is a old processor, and it will most likely bottleneck the GPU.

Bottleneck:
When one part in the system holds the rest of the system back. So what happens is the GPU does its part, while the CPU is "suppose" to be doing its part. But the GPU can't continue doing what its suppose to do until the CPU gets done.

So with this processor, I don't think you will ever be able to play WoW on ultra. Most likely medium.

You could easily upgrade the computer. New mobo and cpu. Maybe for $350 if you were wanting to get a really good processor. Like $250 if if you were to go with a "ok" processor.

The best GPU you could get with this CPU would be like a HD 6670.
