Insttaling graphics card on toshiba laptop

Have a Toshiba laptop. If I buy a graphics card the works I hope. How do turn off the video being use by memory

To get dedicated graphics on a laptop, I do not think you can. Your motherboard likely does not support a dedicated graphics chip (chip, not cards like desktops. Looks like a CPU) unless it came with one. I have yet to find a place to buy dedicated graphics for laptops, and a dedicated graphics card would not fit.
