Hey all, I've been going through ia living nightmare with this machine. Recently had to replace my power supply, motherboard, cpu, and both gtx 580 graphics cards due to either a power surge or psu failure. Anyway I replaced everything and the computer was running fine.

Came home yesterday and my computer was frozen on the Windows loading screen (I have Windows 7). I hard rebooted the machine and after post got the option to load Windows normally or attempt a repair. I selected load normally and Windows began to load, then froze again. Rebooted the pc again and now I'm getting a red vga led on my motherboard and no video, no post beeps.

I've tried reseating my graphics card, using a different card, and cleaning the pci slot with compressed air and trying the second pci express slot. Still have the light. Also tried resetting bios by removing the battery for 20 minutes (which is PITA on this board due to the thermal armor being in the way which had to be removed and is going to stay that way lol). Tried disconnecting hard drive, motherboard doesn't seem to even check for it at this point as I get the red vga led just as if I had plugged the disk in.

I'm at my wits end with this thing between all the problems I've had, and after it was back up, now I have another.

Here's my hardware:

-Asus p67 sabertooth mobo b3 revision
-Intel core i5 2500
-gskill ddr3 8gb
-evga gtx760 (other card was gtx580)
-Rosewill lighting 1000w psu
-running Windows 7 64 bit

I dont know about this "red VGA" but try removing one RAM stick and disconnect your GPU and run the monitor from the motherboard's VGA to ensure your base components (CPU, motherboard, and memory) work. If it works from there, place the other stick of RAM back in and try again. If it works from there, try placing the GPU back in.
