Hello , I have a Friend who want to Upgrade hes computer-combo..


He have This Motherboard : https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5Q_PRO/

and we are Wondering which (Nvidia GTX) GPU we Should Buy for Him ?

Like would the GTX 690 Work Fine ? and What about the Processor ?? he have inter core 2

The GTX690 is a very bad idea for a few reasons:

1) The CPU in his system would be a major bottleneck so much of the performance of the card would be wasted.
2) The GTX690 is a dual-GPU card thus has the same issue that SLI can have.

At most, I'd recommend something like the Asus GTX770.

*The GTX690 costs $1000. Is this the card you really meant? If so, you'd be way better off building an entire system for that price.

Other:
If he doesn't have 64-bit Windows he'll want to get that, or just get a 1GB video card like an HD7850 1GB. My advice is don't spend too much then save up for a completely new system.

so I should tell him to buy new Motherboard and something like i5 or i7 with gtx 770 ? :) .. also he have 75refresh rate monitor
