Hello guys,

I want to build a pc wich I can connect 4 screens to so it forms one big desktop.

Can I use 4 monitors when I use hybrid crossfire with this setup:

AMD A serie A8-6600K
ASUS HD6670-2GD3 HDMI VGA DVI
Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HD3 has hdmi vga and dvi (supports 3 monitor eyefinity without discrete gpu)

Three of the four monitors have hdmi and dvi
The fourth one has dvi.

Can anyone confirm if I can do the hybride cf for 4 monitor eyefinity or the normal cf with lowend (hd 6450) to get 4 monitors in eyefinity?

If not I would either go for the expensice hd 7770+amd athlon x4 750k+2 active adapters for the mini displayports for the four monitor setup 530,-
or go with the 3 monitor setup with the a8 6600k+Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HD3 420,-

Well, you'll need to make sure that the 2 discrete GPUs have DisplayPort or Mini-DisplayPort connections available. Then, you'll need 2 active DisplayPort-to-DVI adapters to connect those ports to your DVI monitors.

This is based off of AMD's Eyefinity setup tool (http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologies/amd-eyefinity-technology/how-to/Pages/set-up.aspx); I used it to select a 4-monitor configuration.

As far as "low-end" cards, though, it was recommending a 6850 or 6950. Not sure how those compare to the 8570D in your A8-6600K, though.
