Laptop not connecting to TV

My laptop connects fine to one of my TV's via HDMI, but won't connect to the other one. If I plug the HDMI in on boot up, the display shows only on the TV for a few seconds, but then once I actually get into Windows, it won't let me display on the TV. I've tried updating drivers, tried changing the resolution settings and everything but no luck. Maybe it's the TV that's not working but other HDMI devices, such as my PS3, work fine on it.

Already tried that and tried with every HDMI port. Everything was the exact same as before except the TV.

Then it sounds like an issue with that TV set. You've eliminated the HDMI cable & the laptop as the sources of the problem, since they work with the 2nd TV set.

It may not be a fault, however, it may just be a compatibility issue. You'll probably need to talk to the TV manufacturer's tech support, or try searching online in their support forums, to see if anyone else has the problem and/or found a solution to it.
