Hi guys big time newb here. So i fell in love with Dayz standalone after watching many videos on youtube so i decided to buy the game! The thing is, is that my game quality is not that great and it takes away from the experience.

Game is not that smooth and is a bit "choppy".
Here are my specs:

GeForce GTX 285
Intel 2Quad CPU Q6600 @2.4
8 GB RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium

Is my PC good enough to play Dayz standalone on high quality? If not do i need to buy a new pc or will a new graphic card do?

hmm so DayZ standalone runs on the arma 3 engine, which is known for running like absolute ****. You will most definitely not be able to run it on high and both your CPU and your graphicscard are probably not good enough for that game.

hm, so would upgrading to a good graphics card like the GTX770 be a waste of money because my CPU is still bad? I just want the quality to be as good as the guys on YouTube.
