At multiple sites across our domain, we're having monitors just turn off. The computers (most are Dell Optiplex gx620, 745, 755) with just a few other brands here and there. It's not a GPU or PSU problem. It's just now started happening, and it's happening network wide hitting random computers. Monitor continues to work fine after turning it back on but will turn itself back off at a random time period. I've reports of it doing it anywhere between 5 minutes and 30 minutes. Any ideas out there?

sounds like someone is changing settings. Talk with network admins to find out if someone is changing settings, if was a constent time I could say someone sent a script out to the network to change settings for power management.

Check the power saving settings in he computers and also the monitor. Do they turn off while in use or when left sitting there? If it's only happening to a few of them, could be bad monitors.
