Basically i have just built a decent gaming pc (i5-4670k, R9 280x etc) and only have a 19inch 1600x900 pc monitor (VGA) or a 22inch 1080p led tv (HDMI) which can only seem to produce 1600x900 res else all the borders are cut of by an inch or so!
Question 1: what is the difference between the 2 resolutions? Is it worth upgrading?
Question 2: Is there any way to make 1920x1080 res to work on my TV? As it is 1080p however it just won't fit the 1920x1080 resolution on the screen when connected to my pc!
